v7.10 Highlights
Instant View
Ignite has expanded its delivery options from the existing push,
pre-delivered and live methods, to include on-demand instant view
delivery. Instant view enables users to view prerecorded content
at the time and on the device of their choosing, while using any
available interface (portals, media sites, the Delivery Center,
or other application).
Key Benefits
| » | View content without having an Ignite Delivery Center installed |
| » | Instantly view content from mobile devices |
| » | Instantly view on-demand content from any available interface |
| » | View content from non-enterprise standard computers (i.e., non-Windows computers, home or personal computers) |
How it works
During package publishing, Ignite enables publishers to select a package file that should be made available for instant view. This file can also be transcoded to the appropriate bit rate and format to ensure an optimal viewing experience. At the end of the publishing process, a URL is generated for the instant view content. This URL can be used to preview the content prior to making it available to the appropriate end users. If the instant view package is revised, the previous version’s instant view link will be redirected to the most recent revision of the instant view package.

Moderated Q&A
Ignite’s offers moderated questions as part of its
Enterprise Live Streaming Solution
, providing participants the ability to submit
questions and receive feedback during a live event.
Questions are managed and responded to by a stream
event moderator and/or presenter through an
easy-to-use console. Following the live event,
questions and answers are archived to be accessed
later in reports or pushed to users as an
additional content delivery.
